Lakadong turmeric

Grown under the most favorable condition (high altitude, cool weather, rich soil, and abundant rain) in the Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, Lakadong turmeric is famous as one of the world’s finest turmeric varieties with the highest curcumin content.
The farmer still uses traditional farming methods passed on from generations.
